What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file stored in your browser when you visit a website. Use of cookies is regulated by the Norwegian Electronic Communications Act § 2-7 b, which requires that you are told which cookies are used and what they are used for, and that you consent to those that are not necessary.

Which cookies do we use?

Necessary: milepel_consent (stores your consent choice, 6 months) and NEXT_LOCALE (remembers your language choice). Functional: activated only with your consent, used for embedded content such as maps and video. Marketing: not used — milepel.no has no advertising or tracking cookies.

How to control cookies

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via “Manage consent” in the footer of every page. You can also delete and block cookies in your browser settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge and others) — see your browser’s help pages for how.
