Crowded House - SOLGT
Where the craft was learned.
Where it all began: the old Skogen Hotel in Håkonsgaten, taken over in 1996 and reborn as Crowded House, with the sushi restaurant Soho next door. Sold in 2003, but the mindset lives on.
The project story
The promise was simple and honest: "a good bed, in a clean and pleasant room, at a fair price". A worn hotel gained a distinct identity, fresh concepts and food experiences that left their mark on the city. Crowded House was sold in 2003, but this is where Milepel learned that a strong concept can lift an entire house. That lesson has travelled along ever since.
