Furnished student housing with community included: in the old twine factory in Møllendal and the fully renovated Fjøsangerveien 33 by Danmarksplass, ten minutes from the city centre.
The project story
It began with a conviction that students deserve better. In 2012, Fjøsangerveien 33 was fully renovated into 31 furnished units. The following year, the 1938 twine factory in Møllendal was transformed into 30 apartments, fitted out more or less like hotel suites, built and sold in 2013.
The place
Norsk Hyssingfabrik raised the factory building in Møllendal in 1938, in a district that has always been a place of work. Today the student homes are ten minutes from the centre by light rail, with the universities and the mountains within walking distance.
Vision and concept
Milepel Campus is built on the idea that student life is more than a place to sleep: good common areas, quality in the details, internet and TV included, and benefits that connect residents to the rest of the ecosystem, such as a free annual pass for the Ulriken cable car.
