A modern multi-sport hall at Danmarksplass where anyone can book a court from morning to night: squash, badminton, floorball and indoor football, with free loan of all equipment.
The project story
Milepel Squash was born of pure passion: Christian Foss has played squash for thirty years, and wanted a court that shows off the sport he considers the best in the world. The result is an open hall in the middle of the city, where the threshold for trying is as low as it gets.
The place
The hall is in Solheimsgaten 23 at Danmarksplass, one of Bergen’s busiest junctions, in the same building as Citybox and Milepel Business Hub. The entrance is behind JAJA, with the light rail and the city centre just minutes away.
Vision and concept
The court is open to everyone, every day from 7 am to 11 pm. You book at milepelsquash.no, receive your own door code by email, and borrow rackets, balls and badminton gear for free. The only requirement: indoor shoes with light soles.
